Directorate of Research

Directorate of Research of the University of Kota has nurtured excellence in research and creative activity in the entire University. It has a primary goal to provide excellent research environment within the University campus and its affiliated colleges/institutions also. Directorate of Research is actively engaged in the development of research and its policies as per directions of the UGC as well as the State and Centre governments also.

After qualifying the research entrance test by the candidates, the Directorate of Research allocated research scholars to the registered research supervisors for completion of Ph.D. course work, carrying out the research work and timely submission of half-yearly progress reports. The Directorate of Research monitors the progress of the research of all the registered research scholars continuously. On completion of the doctoral research work by the registered research scholars under the supervision of the registered research supervisors at the research centres/departments, the Directorate of Research made arrangements for submission and evaluation of the Ph.D. thesis and afterthat arrangement of Ph.D. viva-voce examinations of the successful candidates in Ph.D. thesis evaluation.The Directorate of Research has administrative responsibility for several independent, interdisciplinary research faculties as well as research centres / departments which provide support to the research scholars during their doctoral research.
